Selp Help Groups (SHG)

The Bank has implemented this programme from the year 2000, and shown good progress in the formation of groups as well as mobilising deposits through SHGs.   The Bank has promoted 6561 SHGs since its inception with a savings of Rs.1055.20  lakhs through PACS. 4824 SHGs have been credit linked with a loan of Rs. 2267.00 lakhs.

The Bank has established a Women Development Cell with grant assistance from NABARD.  The nodal officer is looking after the work relating to SHGs.

The Bank received encouragement award from NABARD for SHG Bank Linkage and State level Best SHG nodal officer for the year 2008-09,
